I want to thank you for writing such a book. I read the first few chapters only. What an encyclopaedia of information. I can see that this book is going to be the “Book of the Century” and World’s best seller in no time. All economist, strategist and financial advisers from different govt should come to you with a notebook and pencil to know the basics of economy and finance. This I am telling from my heart as I am avid reader of your forum since last two years and a middle management professional having comfortable level of knowledge on world economy and finance. A piece of unwanted advice if you want to look at : please make a copyright on the information and execution of your recommendation without your prior permission. I see no reason why USA shouldn’t pay you a billion dollar before acting on their economy as per your advise.

Yes, we can do that. Ask your hubby to log onto our blog site http://anilselarka.com (this website) and click on the book banneron the right. It will lead him to the PayPal site. In the delivery address, let him write your Chennai address. We will deliver it there within 2 days.
A separate email is also sent to you for payment arrangement. Ask your hubby to send us the email advising PayPal payment (we get automatically from Pay Pal) and ask him to write your chennai address very clearly. If you need autograph, ask him to write specifically in the email. Our instructions sent to your email address is very clear and comprehensive.

No need to return the good copy. You use it. There is an envelope on the back of the box which contain the Autograph which you requested.
Please send me email in what condition the first book has arrived (which you say is not in good shape). If it contains the autograph as well duly pasted in the book itself, then you may use it as well because I can not use it elsewhere.
Do not get worried. We wanted you to be happy that you got the book in good condition. We do not bother about double shipment. It is part of business.

Our apology. You have correctly made the payment. We also shipped it correctly on 23-06-2009 under Tracking No: HKG 218 01795641 3 from our end. However, due to heavy shipment volume on that day, the Airway Bill used to be prepared by the Courier office from our Excel spreadsheet, where they made the mistake of writing second line wrongly (Of Mumbai address) The Mumbai address was also not complete, so the package must be lying there.
In your email to us, no telephone number was provided, although in Paypal receipt we could figure out the telephone number in remote corner without mentioning Tel. So it was overlooked as Paypal reference number. Due to absence of telephone number on Airway Bill, ,the Mumbai office of DPEX was unable to contact you, otherwise the mistake would have been noticed on same day.
We have sent the Fax to Mumbai office to redirect the shipment to you. We have also informed the concerned people in Hong Kong by Fax and email. We will check out tomorrow morning.
If DPEX is unable to locate your package in Mumbai, we have kept ready another package in replacement. It can leave tomorrow

The item was couriered on 23/6 and left Hong Kong on the following day (24/6). We were told that there was no one at home or office to fix delivery. The courier also called today on the phone numbers provided but there were no answers. We were finromed that the item will be delivered on Monday because Saturday and Sunday is holiday in Tokyo.
The tracking numbers are provided in eMail sent separately to you.
Please send email for non receipt of documents as emails are monitored almost on continuous basis.

I posted it by Registered AirMail on same day I advised. The tracking number is advised to you separately. It does take minimum 7 working days for Registered AirMailk to reach India. Our mailing of 19th June to other countries got delivered on 25/6.
Some time in India, some customs problem do crop up from at times during randon check up. I suggest, you call the Faridabad General Post Office with the tracking number to see whether the package has been lying there.
It is only recently that we have switched to Courier post DPEX which is fastest for India sector. We did not have that arrangement in place at the time we posted the item to you.
We will revert soon. Check your email tomorrow for dispatch information to be checked with Pune Post Office.

It was sent by Registered Post Air Mail Tracking Number is RA991542683HK of 17/06/2009. Almost all persons of same date have received it even in USA. The package has already left Hong Kong. We have to give one more day because of your locations being Pune.

When you have proof in your hand that you remitted the payment properly, you need not worry. It takes about one or two days before the payment finally reaches me. I normally send the book based on the evidence you sent. Your copy was already couriered and you should be receiving it today or tomorrow.
It is difficult to spend time on follow up on minute to minute basis. When you remitted the payment on say 22/6, NET transfer will take a couple of days to reach the destination. When the electronic transfer takes two days, why do the readers expect courier to effect the delivery of the book physically in one day? We are sending from Hong Kong to India, not from within the country. You have to allow 2 to 3 working days to effect the delivery, although DPEX is very quick.
One reader in Raipur informed me that he received the book sent over to him by Registered Air Mail within 7 days.
I will tell you what is happening over here.
We are simply overwhelmed by the orders, which is of course a good news. What we do is to send the Excel spreadsheet to the courier to help them prepare Shipping Bill. They use preprinted computer stationery that can be printed only on Dot Matrix printers. We can not print on them on laser.
We therefore do not know the AWB Number of the courier on same day. We get this information following day by the time the package would have been delivered to the consignee.
Only when a person remits the amount in cash that we are very careful. Once I remitted Cash from HDFC Bhilai/Raipur to Amravati for opening the account with Rs 10,000. Until now, it has not reached there and no one answers. It is lost for ever.
I encourage the readers to remit by Cheque, rather than by Cash. When the remitter already have proper receipt in the form of counterfoil and also his own payees account cheque, why do they need separate confirmation from me again? Should I dispatch the book or give them acknowledgment?
We are acting upon the Reader’s remittance details immediately. If we find discrepancy later, we would take up the matter with them individually. Our bond with the readers is a strong one, and I do not think any one would deliberately send us wrong details just to claim the book free of cost. We trust the readers.
We will change the system within two days, so that we do not get frequent follow up queries. In our remittance instructions, we clearly mentioned that it would take 3 to 4 working days for courier and 7 days for Registered Air Mail. We use only Courier nowadays instead of Registered Air Mail.

I am sorry to hear that. I have sent the copy by Registered Mail which sometime take longer. My experience with Hong Kong post is a good one – we never had problem while sending commercial samples to western countries. Some time in a country like India, customs do creae problem.
If you do not recive the copy in next two days, I will courier another copy for you. You can then enjoy both copies without any additional cost.

I have just started selling it and it is a more than expected success. The real demand will come after 2 or 3 months when the people across the world read it and pass on words to others. Once it gets attention of the media, the demand may jump. However, at the same time, some press comments are not so kind to this book, then it may have some negative effect.
First, I had doubt that Rs 2800 price tag + Rs 250 for Shipping might be construed high by Indian customers. However, the demand from India is simply overwhelming. I could not sleep for a minute on Friday night because of huge shipment and difficult task to reconcile wth the HDFC statement.
Now that I have permitted buy8ing against any credit card through PayPal, (see the banner on the site), the problem of reconciliation will be less.
I am to send all shipments on same or at the most following day. The courier need to have shipping bill prepared individually, so I sent them Excel file to help them make shipping bill by themselves.
I received supply from my printer. I have printed nearly 3000 copies now and 2000 more will be available at short notice. I have two more offices to handle this matter.
Yes, the book will sell well, but more so after 2 or 3 months. It needs time for people to read it and then pass on word to friends or colleagues.

I am mailing it from overseas by Registered Airmail. It takes 5 to 7 days from here. This is why I have decided to send it by courier this time. They promised delivery in 2 to 3 days, but the record tells us that they also take 4 days at double the charges.
The copy left Hong Kong on same day – it all depends how much time Indian Posts take. So far my experience is satisfactory. However, in some cases, Custom authorities interfere. Once I sent my Bank Deposit receipts (documents) by Speedcost and it took 21 days because my cover was random checked for custom inspection.
We send to other countries very easily. If you do not get within next 3 days, I will send you another copy by Courier
Thanks for your other offer. I will consider it and revert to you once I decide to ship the books in bulk my Sea (it takes just 12 days).

First lot was sent by Registered Airmail because that was the cheapest route. Of late, I found another courier, who is though 20% more expensive, has assured me very fast delivery at the destination within 2 or 3 days. In major cities, he assured me delivery in 2 days. I have used them today on trial basis. I have a huge volume, so they will be glad to offer me the best service at reasonable prices. I do not squeeze them. Everyone works for decent money, so I would lte them mke hard earned money.
In a city like Pune, it should not take more than 3 days from mailing in Hong Kong. Almost 30 trains leave for Pune from Mumbai. Travel time is hardly 2 hours to 4 hours. I have mailed copies to Pune address.
If import requirement is not stringent, I will send a few copies to someone in Pune to redistrubute locally. They will also make decent money.

When HDFC acknowledges the receipt to you, there is no need for us to send you acknowledgement again. We just confirm the shipment.
I got the email from you enclosing processed transaction. However, actual reference in our statemen was as under:

These banks give one reference to you and another to us. that makes difficult to reconcile especially when there are multiple entries for similar amount.
I will be shipping the book to you tomorrow bycourier. Please clarify by email. The book is sealed in plastic. However, Autographed label in your favour is enclosed on the back of the book. It is self Adhesive, You may affix it at the place of your choice.

Not yet. I find the booksellers’ terms unacceptable. They squeeze out the margin and also dely the payment to 3 months. I do business on my terms.
Check the revised payment instructions. You can now make the payment in USD. The PayPal allows you pay in USD by debiting your account in Singapore dollars. if you still find difficult, send me email – I will aks my friend to receive Singapore dollar and pay me in HK Dollar.
